Location and Environment

The houses and flats of Llugarón are located in the neighborhood of Llugarón, parish church of Miravalles and council of Villaviciosa. They are situated on the side of a mountain overlooking a gorgeous valley called Miravalles valley and the nature reserve of the Sueve, which was once a mythical mountain dedicated by the Romans to their god Jupiter.

Llugarón is a peaceful and small village made up of a dozen houses and surrounded by meadows, forests, and countless paths through which we can go for walks and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

We are 4 km away from Villaviciosa, a small and tranquil town full of architectural and gastronomic attractions.

The council of Villaviciosa has numerous pre-Romanesque and Romanesque churches as well as stunning beaches, including the Rodiles beach, which is more than 1 km long, and the Villaviciosa estuary, declared a Nature Reserve, where you can practice various sports, among which we recommend canoeing.

A visit to the small and picturesque port of Tazones or Lastres is a must, where you can enjoy our excellent gastronomy with the best fish, cider, and seafood of the Cantabrian Sea just like the typical fabada (bean stew) and rice pudding.

There are signposted walking routes such as the "ruta de los Molinos del Riu Profundu", "ruta y museo los Dinosaurios", or unmarked routes, taking any path that will show us amazing landscapes both in the sea and in the mountains.

We are 30 Km away from Gijon and 45 Km from Oviedo.
